Allergy & Asthma Tests Center

Many tests are used to identify allergies in some individuals. Blood tests usually involve the laboratory examination of a blood sample taken from a patient. The laboratory examines the blood, checking for the abnormally high or low presence of specific substances. Blood tests can also be used to rule out an allergy, by showing that a specific type of allergy is not present.
